Destiny USA’s Summer Fun Day Pass ~ Syracuse, New York ~ #Giveaway #FamilyTravel

Posted by

Located in central New York, and designated as the geographical centre of this state, Syracuse is a bustling city of approximately 145,000 people famous for it’s athletics program at Syracuse University (the Orange) and, in winter, its record snowfalls. Situated just northeast of the famous Finger Lakes area, Syracuse is home to many wonderful things to see and do, making it a great destination for families.

Growing up in a city just a 2 hour drive from Syracuse, I’ve always been a fan of this great city.  Over the years I have enjoyed a number of day trips to Syracuse to enjoy the New York State Fair (including concerts!), a picnic on Onondaga Lake, a concert at the Carrier Dome, and of course, some fun cross-border shopping.

Formerly known as the Carousel Center, this long-time retail shopping mall in Syracuse was rebranded as Destiny USA in August 2012.  Destiny USA is a 2.4 million square foot destination-shopping complex that is home to more than 260 retail stores and nine entertainment venues,  and is the sixth largest shopping centre in the United States.

This summer, Destiny USA’s nine entertainment venues are working together to give visitors a summer of fun and great new experiences AND helping them save money on their adventures (up to $100 per family of four). Destiny USA’s Summer Fun Day Pass gives you access to your choice of four of the nine entertainment venues, providing a day of fun for the whole family!

From the Destiny USA website:

“Make your way through a ropes course while suspended 70 feet in the air, challenge your friends to a few laps speeding around a go-kart racetrack and even dodge lasers to save the world in an interactive spy adventure. The option to do all this and more is yours with just one low-priced ticket—the Destiny USA Summer Fun Pass. The Destiny USA Summer Fun Pass gives you access to 4 entertainment venues of your choosing – it’s an action packed day for any adult or child! Simply let us know how many tickets you’d like, redeem them at Destiny USA’s Guest Services location on the third level, in the expansion, the day of use, and then have a blast!”

After a day of endless fun with your family experiencing some of these Destiny USA venues, don’t forget to spend time checking out all the amazing stores and restaurants this spectacular shopping destination has to offer.  For those of you planning a visit on a Tuesday, be sure to take advantage of Destiny USA’s Tyke’s Tuesday program. Every Tuesday through August 26th in the Canyon area from noon to 2PM, there is new and exciting FREE entertainment including a magician show and hands-on gymnastics demonstrations.  Check out Destiny USA’s Facebook page for a complete Tyke’s Tuesday schedule!  Tykes Tuesday is held in conjunction with Regal Summer Movie Express, where families can enjoy PG-rated movies for only a $1 admission price.

Looking to stay in Syracuse for a night or two while enjoying Destiny USA and all the other great attractions in the Syracuse area?  Why not check out these participating Shop & Stay family-friendly hotels.

We have been invited to come and experience Destiny USA for ourselves,  and we are really looking forward to heading to Syracuse this summer to use our Summer Fun Day Passes.  We can’t wait to share our experiences with you, but in the meantime, the great folks at Destiny USA want to give YOU the chance to experience your own fun at this great Syracuse family destination.  One lucky Canadian Blog House reader can WIN 2 Summer Fun Day Passes good for up to four people!

These Summer Fun Day Passes are valid July 1 through August 31, 2014.  Passes are good for up to four people (adults/kids) with a maximum value of $207.36 (4 adult passes). We were at Destiny USA last week, but only for a couple of hours, the kids did Canyon Climb and loved it, I on the other hand, froze. I hadn’t realized it was that high and that no railings to go from course to course lol I was able to exchange my ticket for another activity after the host wrote ‘scared’on it lol – Would love to go back and spend a whole day at the mall!
