Tram Footwear #Giveaway – A Boot For Three Seasons!

Posted by

***EDIT***It appears Tram Footwear has gone out of business

If you haven’t heard of Tram Footwear yet, take note.  The Montreal-based makers of “three season” boots for men, women and kids have been taking the internet by storm.  It’s no wonder.  Have you checked them out?  They are pretty amazing boots.

We were sitting here this morning looking out at the miserable rainy skies, when X-Man announced that he really, REALLY wanted to head outside and play in the big puddles. You see, X-Man is a kid who was made for mud and puddles.  The bigger the mud pile or puddle, the better!  Only problem was, we had no rain boots for him.  X-Man had grown out of his last pair, and it was time to buy him some new boots.  So off to the store X-Man and his dad went. They arrived home with a standard pair of rain boots (you know the ones – black rubber boots with the orange bottoms).  Nothing special to look at but, they did the trick.  X-Man was able to head out and do his own little Happy Dance in those big puddles.  Me, I sat inside dreaming of Tram Footwear.

While no one in our family has ever tried a pair of Tram Footwear, I’ve fallen in love with their boots.  Any boot that is good for 3 of our 4 Canadian seasons, keeps feet warm in up to minus 40 degree celsius temperatures, and looks fashionable, is at the top of my list.  I also love the little handles on the kids’ boots. So while X-Man’s regular rain boots served their purpose, I happen to think Tram Footwear boots are a much better option for little feet (and big ones too!).

Lucky for you Canadian Blog House Readers, I’ve teamed up with my friends Lyne, from the Ottawa Mommy Club, and Shannon, from Shannon’s View From Here, to bring you this Tram Footwear Giveway!!  Our friends at Tram Footwear are offering up a great prize. This one is for the kids, so be sure to enter if you have little feet in your household!

Enter to Win One pair of Tram Kids’ Park Three Season Boots

valued at $90

(Park Boots print/colour of the winner’s choice based on available inventory)

The Ottawa Mommy Club, Canadian Blog House and Shannon’s View from Here

are excited to bring you the Tram Footwear Giveaway!

Canadian kids know how to live with the elements, especially snow and cold. Whether it is walking to school on a rainy day, playing hide and seek in fallen leaves, sledding or skating with friends, or building a snow man at the park, they’ve learned to live with what the day brings and turn it into a game. Born in Montreal, crossroads of North-American and European cultures, Tram offers a new generation of waterproof, warm and comfortable three-season footwear, so kids can be kids and keep playing outside, while parents do not worry about their feet getting wet or cold.

Montreal-based TRAM launches its new collection of kids’ three-season footwear. Kid-tested and parent-approved PARK boots, made of durable rubber and flex, resilient, waterproof, warm and comfortable neoprene, can be worn in fall, winter and spring with a comfort rating going from temperate to -30°C. Easy to clean and to care for, they also feature removable antimicrobial perforated insoles which prevent the development of odors. Their new slip-resistant non-marking twice vulcanized molded rubber outsoles feature a defined arch and a thicker heel for additional structure, stability and durability. All PARK boots come with Grab-n-Pull rubber handles for easy on an off. Simply choose or let your kid choose which print and color fits best with his/her personality or go with the classic and timeless solid black. Boots are offered in sizes 7 to 6 and retail at $90.
