Back in April of this year, I sat glued to my laptop the day tickets for BlissDom Canada 2013 were put up for sale. I wanted so badly to attend my first BlissDom Canada conference that I just had to get my hands on a hot little Bliss ticket as soon as they were released. As crazy as it sounds, the minute I hit “confirm” and received that prized email telling me I was now in possession of a ticket to BlissDom Canada 2013, I felt a wave of total “bliss” wash over my body. I was going to BlissDom 2013!! Woo hoo!!
In June I heard that the organizers of BlissDom Canada 2013 were hitting the road! To add to my anticipation and excitement, the BlissDom Canada Road Trip was making a stop here in Ottawa. It was a “must-attend” event as not only would I get to meet the fabulous organizers, Shannon and Jennifer, I’d get the chance to meet up with some of my friends and fellow Bloggers from the Ottawa area who would also be attending BlissDom. I was so energized after this “Tweet Up” that I wrote a post about it.
Fast forward 5 months, and well, my “bliss” has fizzled out. Why? Because I recently found out that I won’t be able to attend BlissDom Canada 2013 after all. As they say, life sometimes gets in the way of the best-laid plans. And so now, life has gotten in the way of my plans for BlissDom Canada.
So, after checking with BlissDom Canada’s lovely Shannon (Principal and Community Engagement), it is with a heavy heart I am officially giving away my BlissDom Canada 2013 full conference pass.
