It’s a Clean Sweep For Nordic Ultra Microfiber Products!

June 3, 2015 by Sandy

Nordic Ultra Microfiber Mop

Mopping the floor is probably one of my least favourite household chores. In fact, I can honestly say, I would rather clean a bathroom than mop a floor. I’m not sure why, but I think it is because a sparkling clean bathroom provides a lot of gratification. A clean floor seems to just get dirty within minutes of being vacuumed and mopped, and it’s a chore that can be rather time-consuming.

At least it was time-consuming until a Nordic Ultra Microfiber Mop Cleaning System showed up at the door recently.

I now have a sudden urge to mop floors. I have a feeling my toilet may soon become jealous of my new Nordic friend.

“Microfiber mop cleaning system, for dry or wet mopping, is the most advanced cleaning system in the world. Superior cleaning to traditional methods. Designed in Denmark, made from the highest quality microfiber fabric. The high quality mop handles and base are constructed of light-weight aluminum and are excellent for cleaning all types of floors (wood, ceramic, marble, laminate and linoleum).”

MicrofiberCloths

CLEANS ALMOST ANY SURFACE WITH JUST WATER!

I was quite keen to give this product a try to see if it cleaned any better than my existing mop, and it most certainly did. While my existing mop looks similar to the Nordic Ultra Microfiber Mop, the difference is in the quality of the mop cloth. My existing mop is very soft to the touch, which is great, but therein lies the problem. The softness does not cut through the dirt on the floor, meaning that it often takes 3-4 full cleanings with my existing mop to actually get the floor clean. Not so with my new Nordic Ultra Microfiber Mop. One round of cleaning with this new mop, and the floor was clean and ready for inspection by even the toughest critic!

What I Love About My Nordic Ultra Microfiber Mop And Microfiber Cloths:

  • mop is EASY to assemble
  • mop is light-weight
  • velcro makes for easy attachment of mop cloth to mop base
  • easy-to-use adjustable mop arm extends length for hard to reach areas
  • high-quality, durable mop cloths – quality stitching/hems – thick absorbent material
  • swivel mop head gets into corners and around furniture easily
  • once used, dirt rinses out easily from microfiber cloths
  • microfiber cloths absorb water easily
  • no need to push hard when cleaning floor with mop
  • environmentally safe – no need for chemical cleaners – use only water
  • long-lasting – can be washed over 500 times
  • can be used to clean all kinds of household items/surfaces

What I Don’t Like About My Nordic Ultra Microfiber Mop And Microfiber Cloths:

  • The 4 basic economy cloths I tested are similar to other microfiber cloths you find at local retailers. I am not a fan of these cheaper cloths. I don’t like the way they feel, or how they clean in comparison to the 4 premium quality microfiber cloths I tested. In my opinion, the premium quality cloths are worth the extra cost. I prefer how they feel, and preferred how they cleaned my household items.

MicrofiberCloths4

I had one particular mess of stuck-on dirt (likely from the dogs!) which I hadn’t noticed until I started mopping the floor. Upon first inspection, I was certain that this was a soiled area that I would have to get down on my hands and knees, and put some real elbow grease into my cleaning, in order to get that part of the floor clean. The dirt was a sticky mess. My Nordic Microfiber Mop truly surprised me when cleaning this area. Not only did I NOT have to get down on the floor and up close and personal with the dirt, this spot of sticky dirt wiped effortlessly clean with 3-4 passes of the mop over the soiled area. Using only water and minimal effort, the spot on my floor disappeared. Ultra Microfiber cloths have millions of wedge-shaped cross sections that remove and trap the dirt. And trap the dirt it did. You can see the dirt in my close-up photo above. MicrofiberCloths5

A quick rinse under the tap and the trapped dirt was gone, and I was ready to keep mopping.

Your Nordic Ultra Microfiber Mop and Microfiber Cloths will come with very detailed information about the products you have purchased. Be sure to follow all the instructions that come with your Microfiber mop and cloths to keep them in top condition, and ensure a long lifespan for the cloths. For example, do not wash them with fabric softener, or dry them with dryer sheets. Because of their microfiber material, you should not wash and dry them with items like terry cloth towels.

Be sure to head on over to the Nordic Ultra Microfiber Products Facebook page and give them a like to stay up-to-date on all the latest promotions and giveaways. With Father’s Day coming up, Nordic Ultra Microfiber Cloths would make a great gift for any dad who loves to clean and polish up their car!
