Alexander And The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day
That movie title would probably win an Oscar for “longest title of an animated movie” – if there was such an award. After taking five minutes to actually get the correct title typed up for this blog post, I’m pretty certain I won’t be the only one that gets the title all mixed up when describing it to someone else. But that’s the beauty of this whimsical, crazy title. It’s long…and exactly something a kid would say. It catches your attention. At least it did me, and I have a feeling that it will capture the attention of thousands of kids out there.
“Disney’s “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day” follows the exploits of 11-year-old Alexander (Ed Oxenbould) as he experiences the most terrible and horrible day of his young life—a day that begins with gum stuck in his hair, followed by one calamity after another. But when Alexander tells his upbeat family about the misadventures of his disastrous day, he finds little sympathy and begins to wonder if bad things only happen to him. He soon learns that he’s not alone when his mom (Jennifer Garner), dad (Steve Carell), brother (Dylan Minnette) and sister (Kerris Dorsey) all find themselves living through their own terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. Anyone who says there is no such thing as a bad day just hasn’t had one.”
This looks like a movie the kids will love! Steve Carell and Jennifer Garner are two of my faves. I’ll have to wait to see them in Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day when it comes out on Blu-Ray. In the meantime, here’s how you can enter for a chance to win a Family Pass for 4 to see a screening of this new movie in your city:
