If you are a fan of Canadian Blog House, you probably already know I’m a huge fan of Mastermind Toys. I was invited to a blogger event they held last year at the opening of their first Ottawa-area store in Kanata. I felt like a big kid in a toy store full of fun, exciting and imaginative toys. Eye candy for kids is what I would call it. The minute you walk into the store your eyes are hit with a sea of colours, beautiful displays, towering creatures, and shelves overflowing with toys. Nevermind the kids…I could browse in there for hours!
Mastermind Toys is Canada’s largest specialty toy store and they are celebrating 30 years of selling toys to Canadians. With plans to have over 40 locations open across Canada by the end of 2014, Mastermind Toys will (hopefully) be bringing its distinct collection of over 10,000 educational and fun toys, books (including my fave DK Canada Books!), games, arts and crafts, puzzles and science kits to a location near you. Mastermind Toys’ newest retail outlet opened its doors on June 16th! Located at Chapman Mills Marketplace, in Barrhaven this Mastermind Toys outlet will feature 5700 square feet of “fabulous toy lines and brand name items including Hansa’s life-size and lifelike plush animals; the latest selection of Lego and PLAYMOBIL; the hot new fashion-forward line of Our Generation Dolls, plus an amazing and expansive children’s book collection with over 4,000 carefully selected titles.”
