A few weeks ago I posted some vague information about some fantastic news I had received, in my post Vaguebooking, Clickbait And Other Social Media Pet Peeves.
Finally, it’s time for me to spill the beans!
Start spreading the news!
I’m heading south to chase adventure in Northern New York’s Adirondack Mountains as a guest of GoAdirondack.com, AdirondacksUSA.com and Visit1000Islands.com !
Next week, I get to spend a week eating, playing, and loving my way through the TOP of New York!
I will be taking you along with me, virtually, as I explore New York State’s wild side. Come experience all there is to love about Northern New York, from the famous 1000 Islands, to breathtaking Lake Champlain, and every bit in between.
I’m super excited to be able to share this adventure with you because I’ve always heard how magical the Adirondacks region is. I’ve wanted to explore deep into the Adirondack Mountains for as long as I can remember. I have traveled many times through New York State but, I have never ventured into the Adirondacks…until now.
Follow along as I bring you some of the best the TOP of New York has to offer. My fellow adventurers and I will be showcasing many of the incredible things you can do in the Adirondacks, and beyond.
We’ll be hiking the magnificent Adirondack peaks, cycling the lush trails, and kayaking through the never-ending islands.
Walk On The Wild Side
Our journey will include a voyage back in time with a visit to America’s most historic landscape. We’ll take you for a walk on the wild side, where our contingent of travel writers and digital influencers will get all caught up in an “offline” web. This giant web, one of Northern New York’s newest attractions, can only be found amongst the tree tops of the Adirondack Mountains, where the view is said to be “as singular in its way as standing on the observation deck of the Empire State Building.”
We will take you to a sleepy little town, that hasn’t been so “sleepy” since being crowned the host of the 1980 Winter Olympic Games. And speaking of crowns, we will be spending some time being treated like royalty, at one of Northern New York’s fairy tale castles.
We’ll introduce you to some of New York State’s mouth-watering culinary dishes, and the culinary artists behind them. Watch as we toast some of the Adirondack region’s finest craft beers and local wines. Here’s a little-known fact. New York State is home to to over 100 craft breweries, and over 400 wineries!
And SO MUCH MORE!
I’ll show you why this New York ISN’T the city that never sleeps.
This New York is full of adventure by day but, all about peace, tranquility, and sleep by night.
We’re trading the concrete jungle for a week in the forest canopy. We’ll be hearing crickets, not car horns. We’ll be paddling the open waters, not driving in commuter traffic.
Come with me and I’ll take you to that other New York…
That New York State of mine. The Adirondacks.
Be sure to follow CanadianBlog House on Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube and maybe even Periscope (@CanBlogHouse), as we make our way through the largest park in the contiguous United States (6 million acres)!
